What is the last time to pray Fajr?
Islamic Ruling on the End of Fajr Time
The Fajr prayer starts at true dawn (when the first light appears on the horizon)
It ends at sunrise, meaning you must complete Fajr before the sun rises.
Last time to pray Fajr: just before sunrise (the moment the sun begins to rise).
What is the banned time for prayer?
Banned Times (Awqāt al-Nahy) According to Islamic Law
Islamic scholars define specific periods in the day when voluntary (nafl) prayers are discouraged or forbidden (but obligatory prayers still must be offered within their time):
Main Times When Prayer Is Not Permitted (for nafl prayers):
From true dawn (when Fajr begins) until the sun rises significantly.
When the sun is at its highest point (mid-day, around noon) until it moves off the zenith.
From Asr prayer until sunset.
This means voluntary prayers (nafl) should not be offered during these times.
However, obligatory (fard) prayers, like Fajr, Dhuhur, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, must be performed within their allotted times even if they overlap with one of these periods. (source)
